BILLEXC to CENTUSX redemption voting results
In the January 17, 2022 news, due to the lack of CENTUSX purchases during the past year, four redemption options were offered to BILLEXC holders:
The results of the voting that took place between January 17, 2022 and January 23, 2022 among BILLEXC holders are as follows:
46 participants with 30,799,880,5416 BILLEXC tokens voted:
1 BILLEXC = 1 VOTE
- Exchange of BILLEXC to CENTUSX with the cancellation of peg to the US dollar — 0.01 USD and the establishment of a free exchange rate for CENTUSX
- 3,479,906.438 VOTES
2. Extension of BILLEXC circulation up to 5 years (maximum period during which BILLEXC can be converted back to CENTUSX)
- 0 VOTES
3. Exchange of BILLEXC to a new CENTUS at a ratio of 10:1 to the addresses of security deposits with the accrual of seigniorage basic income at the appropriate rate
- 10,066,365.83 VOTES
4. Exchange BILLEXC to DBC with a ratio of 1:1. You can use the received DBC tokens in DBC pools to receive seigniorage in the amount of 0.5% weekly to the Bounty address.
- 17,021,802.36 VOTES
Additionally, there are 2 alternative options:
1. Exchange BILLEXC to CENTUS with a ratio of 1:1 to the security deposits addresses without receiving seigniorage basic income, but with a gradual withdrawal to the main wallet min. 10% per month.
- 14,139 VOTES
2. Exchange BILLEXC to CENTUS with a 1:1 ratio to the main addresses (non-multisig) with the receipt of a seigniorage basic income at the appropriate rate.
- 217,666.9136 VOTES
Due to the fact that no option received an absolute majority of votes (51%), the following solutions were considered by the DBC holders:
1. To choose option 4 as having the highest number of votes.
2. To hold a 2nd round of voting, in which the participants should choose one of the 2 options that received the highest number of votes (options 3 and 4).
3. Since the 4 options put to the vote do not overlap in any way, allow BILLEXC owners to use any of the 3 options that received the maximum number of votes.
Two alternatives were not considered due to the small number of votes.
As a result, it was decided to allow BILLEXC holders to use any of the 4 options at their discretion.
Please ask the CENTUS admins to technically prepare a procedure for all exchange options that received the maximum number of votes (1, 3, 4 options), after which the information will be published for its further implementation.
